The Cyclone Feed System links the feeder sprocket to the air system for synchronized ball feed for reduced breakage and jamming. It feeds up to 15 balls per second and includes a wide mouth 200 Round Hopper that attaches via quick release elbow(98 model).Available for Tippmann 98, and Alpha Black markers. Standard Equipment on Tippmann A-5 and X-7 markers.
Loving the cyclone feeder its the first one I've tried and even though it chews through more air due to no power required its a quality product.

Pros:
It's just about the perfect Loader
Cons:
A little large. Proprietary for Tippmann.
This loader will fire every time your gun does. It is the most reliable loader on the market... and it doesn't require batteries.

Came on my A5, Worked flawlessly
Cons:
slight unbalance
The cyclone feed is brilliant. It honestly couldn't get any better. It takes such a simple idea and turns it into something effective and genius.
I entered $150 because it came on my A5. The A5 cost me $150

No batteries needed, consistent, reliable

The Cyclone feed provides an excellent battery-free alternative to high maintenance loaders. Built by Tippmann, the hopper is almost as durable as the markers in which it will be placed.
Most electronic hoppers run between $70 and $150 and can be used on any marker. While the Cyclone Feed satisfies its intended purpose, the fact that it can only be used on Tippmanns is a slight disadvantage considering you can pay $20 more and get a good hopper that will fit on any marker. That said, if you own a Tippmann and are looking for an upgrade, the Cyclone is an affordable and sensible option.
Positives: +NO BATTERIES REQUIRED! +Priced fairly +Consistent feed even at high BPS +Never breaks balls in hopper +Fits on all Tippmann markers +Durable, reliable, high quality exterior
Negatives: -Internal ratchet needs replaced. The stock cycling-gear is VERY cheap. -Heavier than most hoppers -Very bulky

Pros:
No chops, no breaks, no misfeeds, quite reliable.
Cons:
Large profile, adds considerable weight.
Okay, so the reason for the zero-dollar pricetag is that it came standard on my Tippmann A5. The Cyclone is a reliable feed system working off of blowback air, which means that it doesn't use any more air than a marker with a regular loader. I've never had a chop while using the Cyclone, and it works really well at all rates of fire. It never stutters or double-feeds anything, even at eight or ten shots per second. I haven't upgraded anything on my Cyclone, and I've never had the need to. My friend has a Phenom with the Cyclone, and he chops a little, but only when he uses automatic with high-end paint. A simple application of TechT's Squishy Paddles solved that problem. Now, on to the bad. It does add a large profile to the marker, increasing target area and hindering movement through tight spaces. I've been hit on the front of the Cyclone and its giant "football" hopper a few times. The X7 comes with a low-profile hopper, which I need to purchase as soon as I get some kind of money. Another bad thing is the weight. The Cyclone itself weighs probably a half-pound with the hopper on it. With paint, it shifts the balance of the marker to the right side because of the moment of torque.
Other than that, I would get this feed system. I want to try to put a Cyclone on a blowback, which would be a pretty darn fun project if you ask me! Get the Cyclone if you don't already have it! Noah

I'm a Tippmann A-5 user so the cyclone system already comes standard with the gun. Anyway the cyclone feed system is great, if your A-5 or 98 is mechanical it can feed up to 15-20 bps and even more if you get aluminum cyclone internal upgrades. I've never had a problem with chopping paintballs, if I have my e-grip set in a fast firing mode I'll get a skip or two once in a while but not to the point where it becomes a concern. The only bad thing is the stock cyclone paddles are made of hard plastic and can be hard on high grade paint, I recommend the after market rubber squishy paddles for the cyclone feed system.

The tippmann cyclone feed system is great, you can play in the rain, nothing electronic and it takes no batteries. But it does have some down sides, like the little Bar on the side used for manually stirring the cyclone isnt as stable as I would like it to be, and it says on the package "can be used with M98/Alpha Black but to use it with the Alpha Black/Bravo One you actually have to file some of the cyclone off for it to fit ... Which i think permanantly damaging the hopper is unacceptable. Works perfectly with the A5/X7 and M98, But it looks alot bigger on the M98 than it does on the A5/X7, because ive never seen an A5/X7 without it... I give it 4/5 for Appearance (the front is like a target) 5/5 for performance (Feeds as fast as Most players need with no batteries) 4/5 for reliability (nothing has happened to mine, but I have seen a friends manual stirrer break off. - Freely Replaced by Tippmann ) and 4/5 for value (a little pricy for a hopper but its I think the only hopper that uses excess air to feed it...)

easy to clean, paintball capacity
Cons:
The lid is tough to get off
The hopper is great. I got one for my Alpha Black. If you get shot in the hopper, it is an easy clean up. One wipe with a towel and it's cleaned up. The downside to this gun is the lid. It is somewhat hard to open the lid. The way it is shaped makes it hard to completely fill it all the way.
